A Decade of Chaotic Variety

Ya, a very silly heading for a blog that has appeared on the notification pages of my 4 followers after 7 months. But I guess its ok coz this is someting i have been thinking about for a long time.

So, lemme recount wat has changed over the past decade. I know its quite boring to do so, but come to note of it, things can turn out to be quite tricky.

Personally -

The last time the decade/century/millenium changed, I was a student of class XI with a cool gang around and at a place which was my second home. Its hard to believe that its been 10 years that I first entered my step to be a science student. To be the captain of the Red House. To be a lot more than 'a student' of KMSSS. Yes its been 10 years. AS one of my frnds tragically put it some days ago, "Yar, kuch din mai hum 30 ke ho jayenge!!" Damn, I am getting old.

Went from school to college, college to job, job to college again, and again college to job. More than 8 years of study and close to 2 years of work. Well I have done it all it seems.

Musafiro ki kashti ka na koi thikana. Kolkata -> Shantiniketan -> Bangalore -> Delhi NCR -> Pune -> Mumbai. Well I have been travelling. At least 50k have been spent on my travlling alone. But it was all worth it.

My emotional puberty was probably during my engineering, which happend in thsi decade. That is when I realised, that the school is the safest time of someone's life. But again. It was good that I stayed in a hostel. There I realised the need for filtering out people around you. And you need to be gud in that, or u will b lft with shatterd peices of ego, expectations, emotions, and sometimes even heart.

Over the past decade, I have fallen in love twice. (Yes thats a public confession). But I stand today, as single as I was on the last christmas of the gone century. Yes I have grown up, yes I have moved on. As they say, "Its better to have loved and lost, then never to have loved at all."
