happy NEW YEAR

To all of you who are reading this blog right now   .....Happy New Year.....

I know this post of mine will be irrelevant in a month or so when the Year will no longer be "New", but still, this post has content that relates to a New Year. So, Happy New Year.

How did you celebrate you new year, think over it? The fact is, you have not celebrated it. Yes I am right, you have not celebrated your new year. You can only celebrate the year that went by, because you know wat hav u done in that year and how did that year turned out for u. So one 31st Dec 2008, I celebrated my Year 2008 and not not 2009.

That brings me to the point that to be happy all of our lives, all we need to do is make sure our 31st dec are the best celebrated days. Because if we celebrate that day well, it means that the year was rocking for us. So, each gr8 new year's eve is a mark of how gud the year was for us. Make a great year, so that new year gets celebrated in a a better way.

So how do you make this year happy? Any Suggestions? Well, for a start you can do it by making the year New. YES. We wish each other a happy NEW year, but what is actually new about our lives in this year except for the change of date and/or the calendar. For many, its the same, same old 9-5 jobs, same old fighting for survival for daily life, same old tension of kids, same old worry about the future and the career, same old tension in the family, same old love life problems, same old yearn to earn, etc etc etc.

So what is new in the new year? Nothing. Nothing if you dont want it to be. If you want to get on with another day of your life, there is no New Year for u. Its just a day when the last digit of the date changes. along with the 1st and 2nd set of numbers. But if you want, the new year can be a great stepping stone for the life you have in store for you. May be that is the reason why people keep (watever) new year resolutions.

The way you can make the upcoming year new is by living a bit differently, looking at things differently, interacting with people differently, having different habits, trying new ways of doing things, trying out new things, experimenting with new situtations, there is so much more to be done as "NEW", but we usually get rid of it all by saying Happy New Year.

For a start, when you go to work today, try and take a headstart of some mins. And take a route which is an alternative one to the route you daily take, explore new places, learn new things. See the city around, new shops, new buildings, new roads. When you reach the work place, sit on a different seat, change your computer's wallpaper, check out the new movie which is coming up. Arrange the work in a different way, sort out files in a different manner, greet people differently, so on and so forth.. Bring about a change. For one day, live like its the first day of your life, and not the year. Let the change be for good and pleasant. I am sure many of you will stick to a lot of the new found stuff.

This New Year, may your life change with the change in time, and may the change be for betterment of your life and of the people around you. If this happens for each of us, the world would be a much better place to live in...

Amen...
